  • Should you wish us to delete your data at any point, please contact the office as shown further below to make the request. This will be actioned unless there is a lawful basis for us to retain the information in which case you will be advised accordingly.

  • You can request access to your data at any time. We will provide you with a full copy within one month of your request.
  • You can withdraw consent to us holding and processing your information at any time. Please contact the office as below should you wish to do this.
  • We may provide you with updates and bulletins which are appropriate to your service on an ongoing basis – this will be explained to you if it is applicable. You can opt out of these should you wish to – contact us and advise us if you wish to

We have in place a full information security policy, business continuity and disaster recovery plans. We take data security very seriously and have in place we feel the most secure options available to store and transfer your data securely. We can provide details on request.

CCTV is used instore 24hrs a day, and is used for the safety of the staff and customers as well as for security. By visiting our store you consent to the use of CCTV recording for the purposes above.

Refunds & Replacements

All sales are final. However, we want everyone to be happy with their purchases and experience with us. Should the item you purchase be damaged, or you change your mind, please contact us to discuss. 


If it was purchased instore, please return it, along with your receipt where we will be able to replace it for you, Should you of purchased it online, please either return it to the store or post it back to us along with your original receipt. (please keep a copy for yourself) Once we receive it and confirm the fault, we can arrange for a replacement. 


Items returned must be well packed (ideally in the packing they were sent in) to prevent further damage.


Refunds will be given in the form of store credit or vouchers for cash and voucher payments, and refunded back to the original form of payment for any other method such as card or invoice payment. (Credit and Debit card payments can only be refunded to the original card and cardholder)


Items must be returned for refund or replacement within 14  calendar days, in their original packaging, unopened and with your receipt. Items received in the post that are damaged, must be notified to us within 2 days of receipt. After 14 days, please contact us to discuss options.


If you do not have proof of purchase we cannot process a refund or exchange unless the item is available exclusively from us. 


Exchanges for alternative items are subject to a 10% restocking fee if you are not the original purchaser with a valid proof of purchase.

*We are unable to refund tickets, entry fees or table bookings once paid. These payments are to secure a space at an event or for use of tables, should you cancel or cannot make the event or table booking please contact us to see if we can help you find someone else that you can transfer the ticket or booking to, if a replacement is found then we are happy to transfer it to them, should no replacement be found, then we are unable to refund the cost.


All Vouchers, Gift Vouchers, Credit Notes, Credit Prizes and Store Credit, are valid for 1 year from time of purchase or award. After which time they will expire and will not be able to be spent or used. 


Your statutory rights are not affected.


HEALTH & SAFETY


We take the Health & Safety of our staff and customers very seriously.

We are fully insured for Employers, Public and Product liability.


While all care is taken, sometimes accidents can happen. Should you have an accident within our store, please let a member of staff know immediately so that appropriate action can be taken. 


When playing in store, please be wary of other people and do not leave your belongings or other  items in aisles or walkways, they should be stowed under your gaming table.


We provide chairs and stools for gamers to use while they are playing, please note that these have a maximum weight limit of 13 stone (182 lbs) (82kg) and should NOT be used over this limit, if they are, it is done so completely at the users choice and Aardvarks & Dragons shall not be held responsible for any failure or injuries resulting from its misuse. or by exceeding the stated weight limit.


Appropriate Fire Exit signs are in the store and should any alarm sound or you be requested to leave the store by a member of staff or the emergency services, you should do so immediately, via the nearest exit, do not stop to collect belongings and do not return to the building until emergency services have declared it safe to do so.


All aisles are to be kept clear for ease of access for wheelchairs and fire exit points.


Smoking and Vaping is strictly prohibited in and on store property, this includes directly outside the front of the store. Should you wish to smoke or vape, then you must go into the public square outside the front of the store.


FOOD & DRINK


No alcohol is allowed to be consumed on the premises.

No strong smelling food, such as garlic are to be brought into or consumed in the shop, and you will be asked to remove it immediately.


Food & drink from outside the shop is allowed purely at the staffs discretion. Only food and drink purchased from Aardvarks & Dragons should be consumed on the premises.


We currently have an agreement with WoodYard Pizza to allow their food (excluding garlic & alcohol) to be eaten whilst gaming in the store, this is also at the discretion of the staff and can be cancelled at any time. 


We reserve the right to refuse any food or drink not purchased in the store to be consumed on the premises.
